REDUX REDUX

Back in 2020, I saw a film called The Block Island Sound by The McManus Brothers; a refreshing indie horror film that thrilled me to my creepy core. I’m so stoked to share that Matt and Kevin McManus are back this year with an equally stunning new feature called Redux Redux, which premiered at SXSW!

Our introduction to Irene Kelly (Michaela McManus) in Redux Redux happens while she is bloodily avenging the death of her daughter, which we soon find out she is able to do over and over and over again by jumping into parallel universes. Each time heightens her thirst for revenge and dulls her emotions – until a series of shocking discoveries changes her destiny.  

The cast for this film is perfectly put together, and the story affected me in some very surprising ways! Once again, I was drawn deep into this story and really loved the fresh angle on Irene’s “revengenda.” The tension is THICK and horror fans will not be disappointed; there’s plenty of blood and splatter to behold. A solid revenge tale with a very satisfying resolution.
